More than a Church...A Home!

During this season of pandemic and the restirctions on gatherings we have moved all of our services online.  This will allow us to meet together each Sunday and Wednesdays for services.  While the Church building is closed the Church is alive and well online.  We hope you will take the opportunity to join us live at 10 a.m. each Sunday and 6 p.m. each Wednesday.

Welcome to the online home of Susanville Assembly of God Church!  We are a church that is committed to connecting, growing, serving, and going into all the world to share the gospel.  It has been said that, "we are more than a church...we are a family."

The mission of our church is found in the great commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and the great commandment (Matthew 22:37-38).  We also believe that we should follow the five-fold functions of the church found in Acts 2:42-47.  Those five functions are connecting with fellow believers, growing through relationship and discipleship, serving in the church and others, going into the community and around the world to share the good news, while coming together for fellowship and worship with fellow believers.

Our church is currently a part of the mandatory evacuation order for the Sheep fire.  We are serving as the staging area for the fire and the Lassen County Sheriffs command center.  We have a lot of personnel in our parking lot at this time.  We will be holding services online tomorrow August 23, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.  on our Susanville Assembly of God Facebook page.  It will be recorded and posted here by 1 p.m. as well.  Please keep our firefighters and other personnel in your prayers.  It is also important to continue to pray for those who have lost their homes and are evacuated.  I pray that you are doing well and are safe.  May God bless you.
